Roles and Responsibilities

The NOC Engineer will be responsible for implementing, supporting and administrating enterprise network systems in a multi-site/multi-tenant environment in a 24x7 operational model. Candidate would be required to work in rotational shifts ( including night shifts), the Weekends would be staggered.

Desired Candidate Profile

Primary Skills:
•Should have 2+ years of experience, working as a NOC Engineer.
•Should have 1+ years of experience in Eventviewer /SNMP/Syslog (SolarWinds).
•Should have experience working with ISPs for issues on WAN Links.
•Should have experience in Palo Alto Firewalls, PulseSecure SSL VPN concentrators.
•Should have hands on experience in Windows Active Directory/LDAP/DNS/DHCP and Powershell scripting.
•Expert TCP/IP knowledge.
•Experience in IP routing protocol (EIGRP/OSPF/BGP) setup, administration and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.
•Detailed working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server (2012, 2016 and 2019) based systems.
•Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP and related common protocols, including but not limited to DHCP, DNS, FTP/S, SMTP, HTTP/S, Telnet, NTP and SSH.
•Working knowledge of Storage (VSAN)
•Working knowledge of VMWare ( VCenter, ESXi)
•Working knowledge of Linux ( Centos, RHEL)
Secondary Skills:
•Dell Servers and Blades
•Basic understanding of VoIP and VoIP related technologies and protocols such as SIP, H.323 and RTP.
•Experience in HSRP, NAT and ACL setup, administration and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.
•Should have experience in Cisco Switches (4500/6500), Cisco Routers (7200/ASR/2800/3800/3900), BigIP F5 LT/GTM Load balancers, Cisco ACS, MARS, NAM,
•Experience in IPSec VPN setup, administration and troubleshooting across various and mixed platforms.
•Good academic background with a degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computing or relevant subject.
•Cisco and Microsoft server technology certifications are preferred.
•Should be CCNA or MCSE certified (either one)
